Kaycee Town Park is a small park in Kaycee, Wyoming. The park is just a short distance from the I-25 exit. Camping at Kaycee Town Park is free (donations accepted) with a five day limit.
This town park offers several parking spots for camping, picnic tables with shelters, charcoal grills, a portable toilet, water spigots, trash cans, a playground, and a combined basketball/tennis court. As far as camping, this is a basic, no frills park.
Kaycee is a small town located about half-way between Casper and Buffalo. The town itself is fairly quiet, but the park is located near I-25 so there is some traffic noise.
Cell coverage is available for both Verizon and AT&T. Verizon has 4-5 “bars” out of 5, and the data speeds are blazing fast. Our speed test showed a download speed of 53.7 Mbps, an upload speed of 15.2 Mbps, and a ping of 59 ms. AT&T data speeds were pretty bad. Our speed test showed 11.6 Mbps for download, 1.0 Mbps for upload, and a 153 ms ping.
Directions
Take Interstate 25 to Kaycee. Head east from the exit and turn right on Nolan Ave. Follow Nolan Ave into Kaycee, and then turn right on 1st St. The park is straight ahead in two short blocks.
