This is a high-elevation campground at approximately 8,800 feet so you may encounter snow during spring and fall months. Oowah Lake is nestled in the forest with lovely woodland scenery around the sites, but is only a short hike or drive from stunning views of canyons and mountains.

There are 11 tent sites at Oowah Lake Campground. This is a primitive campground with two vault toilets and three picnic tables in a Day Use Area. Oowah Lake is a small, mountain lake and many campsites overlook the lake.

We last visited Oowah Lake Campground in September 2017.
