Details
Riverside City Park is located in Douglas, Wyoming. The park allows free overnight camping with a two-night limit. Riverside City Park is located 1.25 miles from the I-25 ramp in Douglas.
This is a nice, clean city park that is easily accessible. Any size rig is able to access this site, but due to the parking area being somewhat small it may be challenging for larger rigs to find a parking spot if a lot of other people are already at the park.
Amenities include picnic tables, charcoal grills, a bath house with flush toilets and hot showers, an RV dump station, RV water fill, access to the North Platte River, and concrete walking trails across the river (accessible via the bridge). Two dumpsters are available on site for trash disposal. The park is also located within walking distance of several fast food restaurants and a Maverik convenience store.
There is some traffic noise at this park due to it being adjacent to W. Yellowstone Highway (Business 25), but it is tolerable and is fairly quiet at night.
Cell service is good with both Verizon and AT&T. I had three “bars” with Verizon and four “bars” with AT&T. Data speeds on both networks were comfortably fast.
