Details

South Recreation Complex is a city park in Glenrock, Wyoming. The park includes a rodeo arena and ball fields, as well as a small camping loop with five sites. Camping is free and is limited to five days.

This park is located about three miles out of town. It is very close to I-25 so traffic noise may be heard in the camping area. The road from town is paved, but the road into the park is gravel.

South Recreation Complex offers primitive camping at five established campsites. Each site has a picnic table, a charcoal grill, and a concrete pad. There are a couple of water spigots near the campsites. Vault toilets and a dumpster are located a short distance from the camping area. The campsites are all near Deer Creek and are mostly shaded by trees.

Cell service is adequate and usable, but not particularly fast on either Verizon or AT&T.
