Between my hospital scare and the camp host being closed, we were really happy to get our BLM permits!
It may seem silly of us to make such a big deal out of the maintenance on the main road leading to the RTR, but unless you’ve traveled it, you have no idea how good of a job that road does on rattling one’s teeth. Or brain. LOL. But it’s all good. Part of the adventure, right?
I’m all done with kidney stones and ready to get full swing in to the RTR. Well, as full swing as I can (see last post, Episode 4). We have decided on a time for our meetup with friends and viewers here at the RTR. It will be on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, 3:00-5:00 p.m. Email us if you are interested in attending and we’ll give you the coordinates. It will be within walking distance of the main camp or you can drive over if you prefer. And if you are going to the afternoon class, which we encourage you to do, there still should be plenty of time for you to join us afterward. We will call it quits at 5:00 though, no matter what, so everyone has time to get back to their camp before dark. I can’t wait to see everyone!
Also, if you see us and are willing to be in a video clip or in a photo with us, please let us know. Robert and I are having such fun that sometimes we forget to film! LOL. We’ll get better at remembering, but we also don’t want for people to run when they see us for fear of being filmed. We’re about the people – not always the camera – so as best we can we will follow your lead.
Today, my friend Tiki introduced me to two of her friends and I can’t believe I didn’t even get a selfie with them! I was just so caught up in the moment! Thank you Tiki for introducing me to Jill and Diana. Hopefully I’ll get a do-over on the photo opp.
We already have meetups, interviews and tours filmed and scheduled so stay tuned everyone! We’re glad you’re here!
