We are so honored to be the first to showcase Tiki’s beautiful home. And, it is the first tour on our new channel. I love it when synchronicity abounds.
There are build outs and then there are build outs! Tiki is our good friend, but this also happens to be one of THE best build outs we have ever seen. We think you will agree when you see the tour of Tiki’s AWE-mazing, GORGEOUS home. Perhaps the best thing? She did it all herself – the research, purchase, layout design, demolition, custom construction and decorating. Tiki rocks! So does Rocco (10-1/2 years old)! And so does her custom build out.
Her rig is a 1984 Champion Flagship Chevy with 45K miles. She has two 100W Renogy solar panels with one 100 amp hour AGM battery.
The awnings are Shade Pro RV Awnings and feature Sunbrella fabric. The awning over the bedroom window is extended length, and both awnings are made of long lasting vinyl fabric with metal sun shields to protect from wind and UV rays when rolled up. These awnings should be available from any RV dealer or repair shop. Tiki had hers done by RV Awnings in San Diego. She reports that she usedYelp to get customer ratings and comments, and they came to her, in her girlfriend’s driveway. After showing her samples, discussing the pros and cons on fabric choices, and taking measurements, they came back the same day and installed them. Because she was leaving in 2 days, Tiki also had them remove the 14’ awning that was broken and weighed over 80lbs. They even gave her a discount for the aluminum. In Tiki’s words, “It was a good day!”

The purchase price of her new home was $3,800 with 43k miles. It was lovingly cared for by 2 owners prior to it becoming Tiki’s and Rocco’s home. All in – with purchase, registration, tires, awnings, renovations, equipment, and personal comforts . . . she came in just under $16k. Awesomeness!
Here are the before and after photos. AWEMAZING!

Now enjoy the tour! We love you, Tiki and Rocco!
NOTE: At this time, Tiki does not have a YT channel nor does she do social media. If that changes, we will include links here and in the video description.

I really am enjoying watching your new channel and having these back stories to go along with the YT video!
Debra Dickinson
Thank you, Maggie! It is quite fun and fulfilling to be able to offer backstories that we just can’t fit in to the videos and keep them at the lengths we want to present. Your shout out on this means a lot to me. HugZ!
DB Bourgeois
Wow, what a difference with the before and after photos/video. So much brighter and bigger inside. ~db
Debra Dickinson
Isn’t that AWE-mazing DB? I’m so glad she had the forethought to take before pics before she began demolition. You should see the methodical blueprints she did for the buildout! Wow! She’s my new hero. :))
Ernesto T
My respect, after reading, that Tiki did it all herself.

I love remodels – did 3 of my own in sticks and bricks homes – but this remodel on this RV makes me want to jump up and do one too! It is a beauty! G-d bless you Ms. Tiki and Rocco (I just adore him) too! Gypsy QT (Queen Traveler aka Pamela Prizant-Brooks)

Tiki, you’re amazing and all by yourself! You sure give a lady like me something to think about, what can I say I just love it. The color scheme is gorgeous and really lightened up the RV, breathed new life into the old girl. Have you named your RV? Greetings from Tennessee, Betsy
